SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The driver involved in a single-vehicle crash in Lamb’s Canyon was transported in critical condition.
Utah Department of Transportation authorities said troopers were dispatched to eastbound I-80 at milepost 136 in Salt Lake County just after 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle reportedly struck the crash attenuator on the south side of the roadway.

The vehicle then rolled and burst into flames.
Officials said that a motorist who witnessed the crash pulled over and pulled the driver out of the vehicle.
The driver was transported in critical condition.
Troopers reported that they are investigating to see if impairment was a factor in the crash.
A road closure was in place until around 11 a.m.
