In this edition of Talkin' Real we look back at an unusual win over Atlanta United and ahead to next week when RSL will play three of the top five teams in the Western Conference in an eight-day span.

The 5-2 win over Atlanta was close at the half. But RSL blew open a 1-1 game by scoring three times on set pieces in a 20-minute span. RSL has not always been effective on set pieces this season, but head coach Pablo Mastroeni explains why the club didn't spend any extra time on free kicks and corners and why they were able to score anyway.

Pablo also explains why Portland has surged into 5th place in the west after a poor start, why the Timbers are dangerous and when the Timbers explosive attack is most dangerous. The answer may surprise you, but it is also surprisingly simple.

Justen Glad joined the show to talk about the timeline for his return from injury. Justen has a very specific game in mind. He also talked about RSL's ability to score on set pieces, why he scored five times a year ago and hasn't scored this year, as well as Diego Luna's response to not being named to the U.S. Olympic team.

Watch Talkin' Real here and make sure you watch KMYU every Thursday at 10:35.

Real Salt Lake returns to action Saturday night at 8:30pm MT in Portland ( Correction: The game will start at 8pm MT and will be televised on FS 1 and free on Apple TV. The broadcast on FS 1 will follow Canada and Uruguay in the Copa America 3rd place game). Wednesday RSL is at LAFC in a rematch of the game RSL won in the snow 3-0. RSL concludes the stretch of three games in eight days with a game at Colorado that will decide which club wins the Rocky Mountain Cup.
