SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Back in March Jarrod Calhoun was named the 22nd head coach in the history of the Aggie Men's Basketball program. He spent the previous seven seasons at Youngstown State University where he led the Penguins to five-straight winning seasons and three postseason appearances. Calhoun takes over for the departed Danny Sprinkle who accepted the head coaching position at the University Of Washington after leading the Aggies to the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2024.
Calhoun joined Adam Mikulich on a recent edition of Talkin' Sports to talk about the process of earning the head coaching job in Logan and about settling into a new program. He thinks that the foundation that exists at USU will help with a continuation of the program's success in the years to come.
