For the eighth consecutive year, Utah has been ranked as the worst state in the nation for women's equality, according to WalletHub's annual report, which evaluates over a dozen key indicators, including economic participation, educational attainment, health outcomes, and political representation.

This ranking highlights the ongoing challenges women face in the state and underscores the need for significant progress in achieving gender equality.

However, amidst these challenges, there is a glimmer of hope.

This week, 100 Utah companies will be recognized by the Governor’s office for their dedicated efforts to address this critical issue.

These businesses are stepping up to make a difference and create a more equitable environment for women in the workplace.
