Two break into Rocky Mountain Power substation, steal $8k in copper wire

VINEYARD, Utah (KUTV) — Two men are wanted for breaking into a Rocky Mountain Power substation and stealing copper wire.

Police said the men broke in before 4 a.m. Aug. 3 in Vineyard.

Officials with the Utah County Sheriff's Office said the men stole $8,000 worth of copper grounding wire.

Police acknowledged that the pictures have poor resolution but are hoping for the public's help.
